Remove sold listings from AgenPress

I want to show all listings EXCEPT for sold with the search widget. I will call the sold listings to an archive page of sold properties, but don't want them to show up in the regular search pages.

Please share a link to your site. Did you set up a "Status" for your listings, i.e., Available, Sold, Pending, etc.? If not, you can do that. Then use the link to the "Available" taxonomy to pull only the Available properties.

If you place the Status in the Quick Search, they can filter them that way also.

I have the statuses set up, yes. The problem is, I have remodeled properties and wholesale properties. When I view one or the other, the solds show up. I don't want them to show up on those pages. I would prefer NOT to have the status be a drop down in the quick search either. I want it to filter out the solds. Because I have a separate page for "completed projects" that will be all the solds.

Then try the latter part of my suggestion, exclude the id of the Sold on Genesis > Theme Settings > Categories Archives settings.

Tried this, sold still shows up. In the Genesis settings, it says:

These settings apply to any page given the "Blog" page template, not the homepage or post archive pages.

Hey ScrltOTara,

were you able to find the answer to this? I'm having trouble with the AP Listings Search as well. However, instead of filtering, I am having trouble with the Sort / Order of the results. But I think it would be a similar issue, since I suppose it has to do with the way that the query is performed.

I have been able to filter the AP Featured Listings, because I found that the wp_query is referenced in the "class-featured-listings-widget.php", but I cannot find where the query from the search listings widget is used.

Any help? 🙂
