    Hi all,

    I'd like to remove SEO settings in a CPT. I know: remove_action( 'admin_menu', 'genesis_add_inpost_seo_box' ); gets rid of the SEO settings, but it does it across the board. I have a post type "Inventory" that is the only post I want to hide it on.

    I know it should look something like this:
    if( is_single() & $post->post_type == 'inventory')

    but I can't get it right. Any help would be appreciated!

    Remove support for 'genesis-seo' from the register_post_type array in your functions file. Around line 114

    I don't think its added anyway by default so not sure why the theme seo settings are displaying on CPT's.

    Hi Brad,

    Thanks for the suggestion, but isn't it best not to modify parent files? Can I achieve the same thing with a hook or filter?

    Remove it from the child themes functions file.
