Remove Next and Previous Arrows from Whitespace Pro Home Page

I am not sure why there are << "previous" and "next" >> arrows in the Whitespace Pro home page, or when exactly they appeared to retrace my steps. I have tried to remove the home page background image, and the previous and next arrows are still there. There is no slider and no purpose for these, so not sure what is driving them.

Those arrows are paging through the content in the blog area in the center of the page. They are clearly visible in the StudioPress demo.

Now that's embarrassing - I forgot to go back to the demo... and the pagination arrows must not have showed up unless you have 2+ posts, which I did not prior to going live. Because my header area is so large I could not see that it was paging through the posts, so I had no clue why they were there.

Thanks frobn for the CSS - I am going to get rid of the pagination arrows. Thanks!

I would like have sliders but not sure how to do that. The demo has sliders.
