    I'm using the Education theme.

Because of some design requirements like sliders and contact forms my site is not displaying well on mobile phones.

How can I remove the mobile responsive design entirely?

I want the site to appear just like the desktop version, even on mobile phones.

    Can this be done?

I believe if you remove the sections in stylesheet.css that are under @media, that should do it. Of course, I have never tried this so give it a go.

By the way, the whole idea of mobile responsive is so that it is user friendly at all sizes. Is it not working properly for you?

I tried to remove the the Mobile Respsonsive Design Items in the Style Sheet but that didn't do it.

    Any other advice?

You also need to remove the viewport meta rag in the functions file.

    Thanks,

It helped when I removed the "Viewport" line in the functions file.

But there is still a small column on the right side of the website that doesn't display in my iphone.

    Did I miss something?

    It's almost there.

The modifications have successfully removed the mobile responsive design.

But there is still a small column on the right side of the website that doesn't display in my iphone.

Can you help see what I missed?
