In Agency Pro, the Home Middle section uses featured posts widget. But some of these include the category meta which I wish to not be shown as its not really post material but branding material.

I also don't want to show comment box. Even though I have turned off comments in discussion, comment box still appears and I don't see a toggle in the post edit admin window.

    Hi,

I don't see any post meta information on the front page.
If you want to remove it from the single posts, install genesis simple edits and remove the post meta shortcodes.

Make sure you have also disabled comments in Genesis - Theme Settings - Comments & Trackbacks.

For existing posts, you can disable comments by going to Posts - All Posts.
Select all posts, choose Edit from the Bulk Option drop down and click Apply.
Find the Comments section in the middle of the window that pops up and set it to Do not allow.
    Click update.
