Remove margin or padding in News Pro theme

I'm having a problem with a site I'm helping a friend with. I’m having problems getting rid of an open space between a picture and the content below:

The Holy Cross Mountains

Right below the picture (placed in the genesis_before_entry hook), there is a white line. I've placed a background color class in the custom post class on that post. I want to remove the white line that appears below the picture and above the background color so that they fit together with no space between.

If I figured it put correctly, there must be a margin or padding applied below the picture, am I correct? How can I change the code to get rid of the space, margin, padding or what it is...?
