Remove Header Home Page Minimum Pro

Hello!
I want to remove the header (and extra space) for just the home page only. Can you help me as to what specific code I need for that?

So actually I guess I am asking 2 different questions for the header.
1. How can I get it excluded from the home page only
2. How do I remove the excess white space that will be between the header area and the slideshow

Add this to your stylesheet - it will take out the header and the white space on the homepage only:

.home .site-header { 
        display: none !important;
}
