    Hello! Would anyone be able to tell me how to remove the plain text title on the Archives and Categories widgets in the footer of this blog?

    Thank you!

    The double titles are due to the most recent WordPress update. Lindsey from Pretty Darn Cute Designs shared this fix

    /* Text meant only for screen readers. */
    .screen-reader-text {
    	clip: rect(1px, 1px, 1px, 1px);
    	position: absolute !important;
    	height: 1px;
    	width: 1px;
    	overflow: hidden;
    }

    Related and answered from yesterday

    http://www.studiopress.community/topic/widget-title-displaying-twice/

    WordPress introduced the screen-reader-text css class back in 2009, but only recently ( version 4.2 ) have they committed to making more use of it.

    Theme and plugin developers need to adopt this more widely, it's been a while - and that goes for StudioPress too.

    Had the same situation on a post in this forum a few hours ago, answered here.

    I hope StudioPress take this on board.
