    Hi there - I'd like to remove blog posts from my site's homepage. I've looked at front-end.php, but it's not clear to me what I need to do to disable the blog post section from appearing.

    Found what I needed here - added this to the front-end.php file before the closing genesis tag. Worked like a charm!

    yes I can confirm this worked very well it removed the loop and the sidebar.
    You could than if you wanted add a new widget area here..or really anything.
