How can I remove the author and comments on one category of posts, but not on others?

    Many thanks for your help!

You will need to use a conditional tag for your category after the function which enables you to modify the entry meta in the entry header.

Thanks braddalton. I see that this only works with themes that support html5. I use the older Corporate theme. Is there a way of doing it without html5?

I tried to add html5 support to my theme, but it did wacky things to it; I will eventually (if I ever have time) update to a responsive theme, so for now I'll turn off comments on individual posts and I created a Communications Department author account for those posts I don't want to attribute to any one writer.

    Thanks again brad...

Yes, use a different hook. http://my.studiopress.com/snippets/post-meta/#customize

After adding HTML 5 support, you also need to convert all the CSS classes in your style sheet using the online converter.
