My custom site was designed with the header right having my social icons.  Now that I'd like to use a few more social media outlets, I added the icons and it showed up like I expected (knowing that I'd need to relocate the icons)  I'd like to move them to my sidebar under my picture/info widget and it allows me to. The problem is that the icon labels are gone! The circles are there, the links are there and work, but the actual F for Facebook, Camera for Instagram are gone.

If I move it back to header right they show up.  I've searched through my settings and Firebug trying to figure out what's going on but having no luck.  Can anyone take a look at it and help me figure out what is wrong?

Hi Cindy, my first guess is that the icons come from a CSS sprite. Are you able to move the social stuff back to header right and I can take another look?

I just changed it back.  Originally, I just had 4 icons in Header Right. I can add them to HR and they show up fine.

OK, can you move them back to the sidebar?

Just did.  The little envelope on the left shows up only there. Weird.

Hmmm. I really don't know, sorry to say. I tested the plugin on a test site of mine, and the icons appeared in both the header right and the sidebar. You might try deleting the plugin and reinstalling it, and see if that does anything - it shouldn't, but stranger things have happened to me.

I saw that the person who designed your site posted a tutorial about this plugin in February - she might be able to help?

Also, you could open an official ticket with the StudioPress folks since I understand they are supporting the plugin.

It's weird huh?  I appreciate you trying though.  I did re-install the plugin but had the same results.  I e-mailed Heather -my designer- to see if she has any ideas.
