I added a new front page widget area (front-page-8) to my Altitude Pro child theme. I am struggling to reduce the big space above the widget titles (the space between the front-page-1 image section and the titles to the new widget. Link

Also, it seems since I added this new widget, that the footer has lost it's color and the font color is now black (from being white), like the css rules are not working for the footer area now?

I'm sure there is some logical explanation, obviously to do with me adding the new widget area but I just can not seem to figure it.

I am hopeful there is a genesis out there that can help..... please.

It looks like you resolved the space and the footer issues?
