Recent posts widget "view more" addition

Hi Gang,

I am using the recent posts widget and have set it to allow for 10 posts. I thought it would be cool if there was a way to add a "view more" link on the bottom of the list. So if a user wants to view older posts they could see an expanded list. (kind of like pagination for posts or something).

Is there a snippet of code that I can add to make that work? I have tried using a few plugins (and widgets) but they don't provide that functionality really. Last one I tried was the genesis feature widget amplified. It was close.. but no cigar. 🙂

Can anyone recommend a widget that does this or how to handle that with a code snippet?

I would greatly appreciate any advice you can offer. Thanks in advance!!!
