    Dear Community forum members,

    I have the Cafe' Pro genesis theme installed but do not like the chunky black and white title & tagline box. I would like to remove it completely or replace it with a very simple box and text.

    If I delete my title and tagline text all together the box still exists, albeit, empty.

    I assume I need to go into the theme code and manually delete that particular snippet of code but I do not know how to get there. I would also rather replace the dramatic black and white box with a simpler box as used in the rest of the Cafe' Pro theme.

    Any pointers?

    Thanks much!

    Hi,

    around line 999 of your style.css you find the code for the box.

    .title-area {
      background-color: #000;
      border: 1px solid #fff;
      box-shadow: 0px 0px 0px 10px #000;
      display: inline-block;
      margin: 10px auto;
      text-align: center;
      text-transform: uppercase;
      width: auto;
    }

    background-color: #000; makes the black background inside the white border
    border:...; makes the white border
    box-shadow: makes the black on the outside of the white border
