I have a Metric based website and I would like to have pages that are basically split down the middle like this example.

What do you think is the best way of getting this?

    Thanks in advance.

The areas on the front are Home Middle 1, Home Middle 2 and Home Middle 3. You would need to get rid of Home Middle 3 so you'd have two columns. the change the width to 1 and 2 to be equal sizes.

How would I get this effect on the other pages inside my site?

You would have to modify the the Content Area and the Primary sidebar to be even widths.
