Problems getting my page to do what i want

Hello

So i am having a few problems getting my page to do what I want.

basically the 2 things I want to try get fixed are the email on the bottom left. it just says gmail.com but i want that to be clickable and open up an email with my email address in there. When I am in the customing > widgets it has the simple social icons in Email URl: it has http://[email protected] which is the email address i want in there but when i delete out the http:// part to leave it just as my email it doesnt give me the option to save it then it just reverts back to normal.

the second bit, is on the right hand side on the primary sidebar I want to be able to put in a page there where it it says basically:-

"My budget so far
£1400"

then you can click into that and see a page that has a basic breakdown of the money i have spent for that year.

I cant see to figure out how to get it to work like that.

for email, instead of http:// use mailto:[email protected]

For your primary sidebar, do you want a link to a page on your site? If so, add a text widget to your primary sidebar, and add in your text and the link to your page.

can you see it now, so I really just want it to say

Budget so far £1615.94
I thought people might be interested in the cost of doing this so I thought I would start counting the pennies as they add up. I will keep this bit updated so you know how much it has cost me.

and then if you click into it it shows you the rest of the information. Is there a way to do that? And is there a way to edit the text for those titles so i can make them stand out a bit more?
