Until a few weeks ago I used the 'Exec PHP' plugin to execute PHP within some pages and widgets. It gave trouble when provider upgraded tot PHP 7.2. I tried other plugins like 'PHP Everywhere' and 'Allow PHP execute' but the PHP code is not executing anymore.

PHP 7.2 has tightened security and won't allow for vulnerable executions any longer. You might want to try creating your PHP as a shortcodes and running them that way.

Agreed with Victor, it's probably time to update your practices considering the serious security issue of allowing php code execution within the content editor.
