I'm experiencing a problem with the featured image on my site's pages. I made a short video (link below) showing the problem. I want the featured image to show up on my blog page, so I checked "Include the Featured Image" in the Content Archive section of the Genesis theme settings. The problem is that the featured image is also showing up on all the pages of my site, above the page title. This happens regardless of whether I've set a featured image for the page or not. When the featured image is not set, Genesis just assumes that the first image that appears on the page is the featured image and puts that image above the page title.

I would like to know how I can prevent that from happening so that the featured image for each post appears on the blog page, but not on regular pages. I think you'll understand the problem if you watch the video below.

You can remove the PHP code which adds it to single posts which is normally located in functions.php and contains the genesis_get_image function.
