    Looking at my client's site on Responsinator, and also on my own iPhone and iPad, it seems the home page background images (all three are 1600 x 1050) do not resize at all on the smaller screens, but rather they all seem cropped, as if "zoomed in" on a small area of the image instead. Looking at other sites using Parallax it appears the images are cropped to some degree, but also resized to allow more of the image to still show on small screens.

    I'd really appreciate some help understanding this and suggestions for how to address the issue. Thanks!

    Can anyone help me out with this? I've searched through the forum and tried some of the code suggested. I currently have this code at the end of style.css:

    @media
    only screen and (max-width: 1140px) {
    .home-section-1 {
    -webkit-background-size: contain;
    -moz-background-size: contain;
    background-size: contain;
    }
    }

    But no love, this did not change anything in home-section-1

    I think the css snippet I tried (above) finally worked. I’m not sure why it didn’t work th first time I tried it. It only resolves the first (top) image on the homepage.
    If you try that css code and it doesn’t work, post again here and I’ll go into my archives to make sure this is the correct code I used. I’m not at home where that file is right now.

    Will you please check the code you put in? For some reason it is not accepted in my css file. Thanks!

    @media only screen and (max-width: 1140px) {
    .home-section-1 {
    -webkit-background-size: contain;
    -moz-background-size: contain;
    background-size: contain;
    }
    }

    Yep, I pasted this code directly from my style.css file and it matches what I posted above. Be sure to refresh your browser a few times (that may be why I didn't see the change the first couple of times I tried this snippet).
