I see that shortcodes that work on normal posts do not display on the archive pages. I have tried this with some shortcodes that I coded as well as shortcodes from plugins (eg. metaslider).

Is there any way to add shortcodes to the custom post type archive pages?

Try adding this to your functions.php file
```
/**
 * Allow shortcodes in genesis archive intro text.
 *
 * @author Joshua David Nelson, [email protected]
 **/

// Custom Post Type Archive Intro Text
add_filter( 'genesis_cpt_archive_intro_text_output', 'do_shortcode' );

// Author Archive Intro Text
add_filter( 'genesis_author_intro_text_output', 'do_shortcode' );

// Term Archive Intro Text
add_filter( 'genesis_term_intro_text_output', 'do_shortcode' );
