Primary navigation menu not working in Parallax

Hi everyone,

I recently decided to scrap my old website template and have started re-building it using the Parallax theme. I swapped over the theme and have been making progress pulling my landing page together and customizing it. However, I've been unable to get the primary navigation menu to work.

I have tried deleting my old menus, using the pre-established menus, creating a new menu, and removing any plugins I thought might been causing a conflict, but nothing works. The menus do work when placed in the footer as secondary navigation which I believe suggests that it's not a menu problem but it's likely a piece of code that isn't triggering the primary navigation menu from loading, but I haven't been able to work out what code that might be or what is actually happening. I'm not a professional developer and am struggling to work this one out.

Can anyone help?

In the Parallax Pro demo, the menu on the home page is set in the headr right widget. According the theme's setup instructions:

A Menu set in the Primary Navigation Menu location will display below the header area of the site on all pages except the home page and pages using the Landing Page Template.
