    I can't seem to figure out how to shift my menu next to the header/logo instead of underneath it. Any suggestions?

    Use header-right sidebar section. Drag the custom menu widget there and choose the primary menu from drop-downand save it. That's it

    Thanks! I didn't think to overlap both menus and the social icons to get that effect. Good thinking.
