Hi, I'm using Genesis framework for about two years, and until now I had used News Pro, but had never fully satisfied me. Yesterday as I looked between the Previous Version Theme Child I found News 2.1 (Type: StudioPress Version: 2.1.2 Updated: 11/20/2013) and I really like.
I wonder if there is no danger in using it.

    Thank you

Danger? What do you mean by danger? The old themes are written for XHTML, not HTML5. It's old tech and you'll lose access to some of the reasons that makes Genesis such a great framework. If you like the look of the old theme, then it would be better to make the Pro theme look like the old theme.

Thank you for your answer, but frankly I'm not that good you can trasforamere the theme through the code.

    Anyway thank you anyway 🙂

If you like the old theme you can use it. There would not be any problems in using it. Just go ahead..
