    Hello!

There's an old bug (?) that annoys me a lot in my News Pro theme. Not only me: Many readers complain about the same thing.

When in mobile version, as soon as the page is fully loaded, it will jump back to the top if the visitor has just scrolled down the page.

You might not see this as a problem. Maybe it's a feature (?). But sorry, it's extremely annoying.

So, please, what should I change to solve this? Where should I edit?

    Thank you in advance.

There's no code in the Genesis Framework or the News Pro theme that would cause this behavior. If anything, the issue is caused by the slow loading nature of your site. Take a look at this report: https://gtmetrix.com/reports/gdamas.com/L7ZTAUNe

You site could benefit from some optimization. It performs very poorly.

Sorry, I don't see why a slow page would make the browser jump to the top after the page is fully loaded. I visit many slow pages and this never happens.

I still think there's something in the code.

    One more thing.

It seems to me that the problem is linked to Genesis or News Pro. The main reason: If I change the theme (as a test only), the problem does not happen. No jumpings. I change back to News Pro and... yes, jumpings are back.

I suspect the problem is caused by the menu. The collapsed menu in the mobile version. The browser jumps to the top to reach the menu.

    Hello.

Please, Genesis Support, I really need to solve this strange problem. Honestly, after several attempts to solve this, and after asking in many places, I'm about to stop using your theme. Those jumps are SO ANNOYING, and everybody complaints about this.

    Sorry.
