    Hi,

    I am trying to make homepage show 5 posts using the Sixteen Nine theme. Every time I reset the number in WP Admin > Settings > Reading, it resets back to 3. I have changed the number to 5 under theme settings ( I think that's for archives, but still.)

    Suggestions?

    Yes, the posts per page setting in the theme settings is for the blog template. Settings->Reading->Blog pages show at most should work.

    When you say that it resets to 3, are you referring to the actual "blog pages show at most" setting field going back to 3?

    Very helpful thread! I set this theme up today and couldn't get around the fact that only 3 posts per page were being shown despite changing Genesis > Theme Settings > Blog Page Template > Posts per Page to 10

    Settings->Reading->Blog pages show at most seems to be the only setting that affects the number of posts shown on the page, so what exactly does the setting under the Genesis Theme settings impact?
