    In my template I am using alt-sidebar -- content -- sidebar.

    I am trying to reduce the width of the alt-sidebar.  When I do this the content is still displayed in the same position.  How can I get the content to move more to the left so that it is next to the alt-sidebar with very little distance between them?

    Please look at this page:

    I would like to move the content closer to the left sidebar.

    Look for this and change 950 to say 980 or 990.

    #content-sidebar-wrap {

        float: left;
        width: 950px;

    }

    And... then look for this... and change 580 to about 650.
    #content {

        border-left: 1px solid #DDDDDD;
        border-right: 1px solid #DDDDDD;
        float: left;
        padding: 25px 30px 30px;
        width: 580px;

    }

    Thank you.  That seems to work.  There is one issue that is browser related and my blog.

    If someone is not using the browser as full screen, running the browser in a window, the left side bar width gets larger.  Is it possible to configure the left side bar as a fixed width regardless how small the browser window is?
