    Hi!
I'm using Portfolio Pro (which may not be the right theme) and I need to move the primary navigation below the header image.

I've made the changes to the css and function php, but have found the magic spot yet.

I'm rebuilding the site because the current theme is dead and gone, but I'd like to keep the look reminiscent of the current site.

Here is the current live home page: http://www.kolhalev.org/

Question 1: Is Portfolio Pro the completely wrong theme?
#2: How can I get the navigation to occur under the header image?
#3: How can I get the logo to occur on top of that background header image? Should I just create the banner with the logo on top in Photoshop and use that as the header?

    Thanks so much!!

You can use these code snippets to remove the menu and then add it back in a different hook position, genesis_after_header.

Thanks! I ended up going to the Genesis Sample theme and using plugin, Sticky Menu (or Anything!) on Scroll.

Works fine, except the menu is not centered now.

    Onward!

if you're referring to your main navigation. you can modify your my_style.css file to include

    'text-align: center;'

    to your genesis-nav-menu class
