    Hi all,

I'm using the Portfolio Page Template from the Modern Portfolio Pro theme in my Centric Pro design. I'm using the Genesis Featured Posts widget to pull the posts.

I'd like to link the title/image to an external site (instead of the posts page), w/o using 301 redirects. I've tried this method, and don't like the way the URLs change. I'd also like the links to open in a new tab.

I've searched the forums, and online, and tried every bit of code and plugin I can find. I have custom fields set up in the posts page, but I need the corresponding code, that works w/ Genesis.

    Can you help me?

    Thanks,

    Ryan

Note: I only have two posts w/ feature images on the portfolio page. I want to get the link issue sorted out before adding the rest of my portfolio.

If I'm understanding you correctly, Ryan, you will want to change the media link to a custom url when uploading the image. If you've already uploaded the image, as you have done, simply edit the image and add the external link in the url space.

Does this make sense? If so, let me know how it works for you.
