Hey guys, I use a custom made Genesis child theme.
I wanted to add a translation plugin. So I tried Polylang.

It changed my domain url from http://www.domain.be to http://www.domain.be/nl.
After deleting the plugin this remains the same. Now the homepage is a 404 page!

How can I solve this? What did it change??

I suggest you restore from a backup taken before you used Polylang.

    Thanks Victor,

    It's solved now.
It seems it was a cache issue. I think..

Do you recommend a plugin for backups?

I manage a lot of sites through ManageWP. You can setup nightly backups. If you want a local plugin, Updraft Plus can backup to Amazon S3.
