    I am using the Altitude Pro child theme, and I had been using the front page widgets instead of a posts or static page as my home page. However, somewhere along the line, it stopped working and now the home page shows my posts now.

    I have checked to see that there are widgets currently in the front page widgets areas.

    I have deactivated every plugin that I have installed since I last checked the home page. (99% sure I have)

    According to the front-page.php file, the login seems to indicated that this if conditional is returning false:
    if ( is_active_sidebar( 'front-page-1' ) || is_active_sidebar( 'front-page-2' ) || is_active_sidebar( 'front-page-3' ) || is_active_sidebar( 'front-page-4' ) || is_active_sidebar( 'front-page-5' ) || is_active_sidebar( 'front-page-6' ) || is_active_sidebar( 'front-page-7' ) )

    Any advice?

    Nevermind. I got it working. I ended up created a blank page, called it "home", and set that as my static front page. Then the theme's front page widgets took over as I was wanting.
