Parallax Pro – How To Edit Size & Text in Nav Bar?

Hi. I have Parallax Pro and I'm loving it.

If anyone could help me with my current challenge I would really appreciate it. Note: I'm new to CSS & PHP, but I have learned a lot over the past few weeks and can go in and edit whatever needs to be done. I'm just having a hard time figuring out exactly what I need to edit.

1) The Nav Bar's default pixel height is 72px. I would like lessen this, but for the life of me I cannot get this to work. I've tried nearly everything I could think of.

2) I want my menu to appear in one line instead of moving down to a 2nd line so I would like to know how to:
a) Edit the space in between the menu titles so that they are closer together
b) Edit the size of the menu text so that it is a bit smaller

How can I do these things.

Play around with some of these changes in sytle.css until you get it the way you want.

Around line 926 change the font-size below perhaps 14 or 15px...

.genesis-nav-menu {
clear: both;
color: #fff;
font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;
font-size: 16px;
}

Around line 946 change the padding...

.genesis-nav-menu a {
color: #fff;
display: block;
font-family: Montserrat, sans-serif;
padding: 27px 15px; (the 2nd one is combined padding left and right)
}

Around line 855 you could reduce the title-area width e.g. to 300px...
.title-area {
float: left;
padding: 20px 0;
width: 360px;
}

and then increase the right header widget width e.g. to 800px

.site-header .widget-area {
float: right;
text-align: right;
width: 740px;
}

That should get you started 🙂
