Paragraph Spacing Issues with Gutenberg

I'm using the Magazine Pro Theme and I recently switched to Gutenberg as I'm trying to get used to it.
My usual workflow was like this:

1. Write my post in Ulysses
2. Export to HTML
3. Paste HTML in the WordPress post
4. Done.

Ulysses generates clean HTMl with a <p> Tag for each Paragraph. Everything worked fine.

When I paste the HTML or formatted text to Gutenberg it converts the Parapraphs to texts. But: When you publish a post, the CSS-Parapraph spacing in style.css is not implemented. It just puts paragraphs without any spacing under each other.

How can I fix this (assuming that I'd like to use Gutenberg)?

BTW: Using <br> is not an option for me. Same goes for the line spacing block. I just want paragraps to be displayed with the defined CSS Paragraph Spacing in the browser.

Can anybody help me out?

I don't think you should be pasting HTML into WordPress unless you're pasting into a Custom HTML block. WordPress does all kinds of things to rewrite HTML they it thinks it should be written. It's always done this, even before Gutenberg.

Unless you post a link to the site and the page causing the issue, we can't help you without seeing the CSS.

BTW: It has nothing to do with pasting HTML-Code. It is the same, when I'm writing in blocks in directly in Gutenberg. There's just no spacing between paragraphs. But I assume that this is not a Genesis issue but a Gutenberg one.

Anyway...maybe somebody can help out.
