Client is coming to me after site has already been customized. I know the padding is off on the sidebar - however when I put added 40px to the sidebar padding - so 20px 40px - it looks good - however it looks bad on these pages - any advise?

Look at the #content div and change it from 590px to 550px.  This should fix the issue.

So should I remove the 40px that I added to the sidebar 20px 40px?

    Or keep the 40px?

Nevermind - it's fixed and looks great - Thank you!! sometimes when it involves something like that - you never know which one to change. Appreciate it.

    Keep the 40px.

By adding 40px Margin Left and Right, you need to remove that width from the content.  It is extending into your sidebar and pushing the sidebar div below the content.  By reducing the side of the content width, you compensate the extra margin and everything floats back into alignment.
