    Hi, I have 3 footer widgets where i want to use a background image and then overlay the text put in the widget, i would i first do this and secondly position it.

    You can put background images either in .footer-widgets-1 to .footer-widget-3 or in #text-3 to #text-5
    Below I´m using #text-3 as an example.

    #text-3 {
        background-image: url("/wp-content/uploads/2014/11/chickens1-266x160.jpg") !important;;
        background-size: cover;
    }

    Code to adjust the widget title would go here:

    #text-3 .widgettitle {
    
    }

    Code to adjust the widget text would go here:

    #text-3 .textwidget {
    	
    }

    Hi Christoph

    Thank you for the information the background image works perfectly, the widget title is a different matter, i think i have asked the question before when adding

    #text-3 .widgettitle {

    }

    and adding the css properties nothing changes, I'm i doing something wrong?

    change the color of the title and the weight
