    hi,

    i have 3 featured post widgets on the home page of this site i'm building -

    http://influencer.dylanmcleod.net.au

    i want the post titles to appear on top of the featured post images but can't figure out which css to modify. any ideas?

    managed to get it to work through trial and error using the method here

    for those people looking to do the same, you need to edit the following CSS for Genesis Featured Posts Widget.

    .featured-content .entry {
    	position: relative; 
    	width: 100%; /* for IE 6 */
    }
    
    .featured-content .entry-title {
    	background: rgb(0, 0, 0); /* fallback color */
    	background: rgba(0, 0, 0, 0.7);
    	padding: 10px; 
    	position: absolute; 
    	top: 200px; 
    	left: 0; 
    	width: 100%; 
    }
