Looking for some help with the Twitter link on the top right side of the page.  Was able to configure it with the help from this, but hoping to have it open in it's own tab/window.  Any suggestions?  Thanks.

    Hi hc2,

Try the following (adapted from the awesomely helpful Bill Erickson method here: http://www.billerickson.net/genesis-wordpress-nav-menu-content/ - all credit to him)

*EDIT* Code removed and added at the following link as it was getting chewed up:

    https://gist.github.com/esanctuary/5320863

There is probably a more efficient way of coding this but wanted to get something to you quickly.

    To implement:

    1) Copy the code from the GitHub link above into your functions.php file and save (if you're not sure about this part make a copy of the file first)
    2) Disable the Primary Navigation Extras in the Genesis Settings menu (but don't delete your Twitter ID or text from the same section as these are used in the above code) and save

Everything should be cool, I've put a working version here using the same theme: http://app-outsourcing-guide.com/

@iamnickdavis. I share the best new Genesis stuff weekly at GenesisWP.guide
I also offer Genesis theme setup and Photoshop (PSD) to Genesis conversions
