    Hi,

    what you need to do is open your style.css and change the following on line 468:

    Find this code

    #inner {
    background: #000 url(images/inner.png) repeat-x;

    and change the #000 to #DCB260

    Hope this helps

    Hi there,

    I just tried this, but wanted to change the black #000 to grey #393939 and can't see any changes.

    Is that blocky gradient an image that needs to be removed or replaced?

    This is what my code for that element currently looks like:

    #inner {
    background: #393939 url(images/inner.png) repeat-x;
    clear: both;
    margin: 0 auto;
    overflow: hidden;
    padding: 30px 0;
    }

    Here is the URL for the site I'm working on:

    http://vinacapitalfoundation.org.westhostsite.com

    Any advice?

    Hi,

    Yes that background image would need to be either removed or replaced for a transparent version for your background color to show through.

    Basically the background color #393939 is essentially a fallback if either the image does not load or the container is larger than the image.

    If you want just a plain background #393939, just remove the url(images/inner.png) repeat-x; from your style.css file.

    Hope this helps
    Stewart
