    A client just added a new post to his site, and as soon as it published, the header slid all the way over to the left.
    http://race-1.com/

    I had originally fixed it with the solution in http://www.studiopress.community/topic/outreach-theme-trouble-with-everything/#post-14151 but even though I still have

    #header {
    background-position: center !important;
    }

    at the bottom of the style sheet, it seems that the theme is now ignoring it.

    Can anyone help me figure out why Outreach all of a sudden has ignored that rule? And how can I get the header to once again be centered?

    Thank you.

    Grace and Peace,
    Paul

    Find this rule in your stylesheet:

    #header {
    background: url(http://race-1.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/cropped-header-9602.jpg) no-repeat !important;
    }

    and change it to this:

    #header {
    background: url(http://race-1.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/cropped-header-9602.jpg) center no-repeat !important;
    }

    Did a quick search and find on the style sheet and that did not come up. Maybe because the header image is set from the custom header interface?

    Ah, okay. In that case, remove the header image from Appearance > Header and insert that second CSS rule in your stylesheet - that should get it working.

    Bingo! That did the trick!

    Strange though, that it had been working fine thanks to the earlier tip, and then yesterday it quit obeying that style rule.

    Anyways, thank you much Andrea!

    Hi I had the same problem displaying an image header. Thanks to this forum post I was able to add a logo to the
    http://www.chiropractorswarwick.co.uk site 🙂 However I also had to add to the css telling it to not repeat and to center the image as it was displaying right over on the left hand side.

    #header {
    background: #818184 url(/wp-content/themes/outreach/images/header.jpg) center no-repeat;

    I also had the text title displaying through the background image so I had to tell the title div to display none.
