    I'm considering replacing my background image with a self-designed image using text (created with an application like picmonkey, etc.). The set-up instructions for Minimum Pro says that the original size of the background image doesn't matter because it's responsive, but I wanted to make sure the image (especially text) looks sharp.

    I saw that this site used text: http://www.wmwebdesign.co.uk/

    When I pull it up on my iPhone, everything seems to re-size fine and not look blurry.

    Any suggestions on image size and/or font size? Thank you!

    Size of in the example site is 1600 X 600 [http://www.wmwebdesign.co.uk/wp-content/themes/minimum/images/sample.jpg]

    As such size of 900px or 1024px width with good quality settings should look fine.
