    I would like to show more than 7 posts on my blog page by default, in my settings / reading I have it set to 12 posts, but the page will only show 7

    I am using the smart passive income theme

    Anywhere is this is being controlled?

    That information is in your my.studiopress.com account here.

    You need to set the number of posts, you need to use the parameter &showposts=1, change 1 to 7 to display 7 posts.
