    Hi there,
    I developed a site for a client two years ago using Genesis framework and, for some time, his daughter managed the website. He contacted me a few days ago to fix an issue and I saw that his site is still using genesis v2.2.7, the original install. I'm reluctant to update to v2.6.1 without performing the interim upgrades to avoid further breaking the site.

    Am I needlessly concerned about this? If not, is there an archive somewhere that would allow me to download back versions of Genesis?

    Any help is greatly appreciated!

    You should just be able to update. Make sure WordPress is updated as well.

    Just update. Minor versions of anything in WordPress should almost always go smoothly.

    The archived section in the downloads area has the previous version of Genesis. Scroll to the bottom of the downloads page.
