I am using the metro theme at http://www.ratracegrad.com . I am not sure if I am using the widget and settings-reading options right.

When I have settings->reading set to my latest posts, it seems to use the layout of the widgets that I have set for top and bottom (not using middle). The problem is that at the bottom of the last post listed on the home page there is no "Older Posts" link to show any of my older posts.

I have tried changing settings->reading to homepage. I created a page called Blog and set template to blog. With this setting it shows blog posts with a different layout than above. I do see the Older Posts link at the bottom but it just takes me back to page 1 showing all of the posts that it already showed.

What is the best way to have it set so that it shows all my blog posts on home page with Older Posts link that goes to older posts?

I just renamed the home.php to home-old.php and that seems to give it the appearance of a traditional blog.
