    New website and notice the header isn't responsive.

    I changed the header size in the css and in function.php then uploaded it thru Appearance -> Header.

    Looks good on the computer but wasn't responsive - SO after much reading I uploaded Nick's plugin and now have lots of white space top and bottom of the header.

    Is there a way to NOT have all that space?

    Thank you

    Hi Cynthia

    I noticed the right side of the header still cuts off slightly at some screen sizes, but that apart if you want to remove the white space above and below at smaller sizes you could try editing the following bit of code in your style.css file (showing as line 578 for me):

    `.header-image #title, .header-image #title a, .header-image #title-area {
    display: block;
    float: left;
    min-height: 275px;
    overflow: hidden;
    text-indent: -9999px;
    }`

    to:

    `.header-image #title, .header-image #title a, .header-image #title-area {
    display: block;
    float: left;
    height: 275px;
    overflow: hidden;
    text-indent: -9999px;
    }`

    If you're not sure on this please make a copy of your style.css file (or backup of your website) first
