    Hi All,

    I have noticed a number of websites incorporating the features as listed below:

  • Notify me of new comments via email
  • Notify me of new posts by email.

    • How is this achieved? Plugin or Code

    If code, does anyone have the necessary.

These are standard WordPress settings. For the comments, go to Settings/Discussion and check

Email me whenever
Anyone posts a comment
A comment is held for moderation

As for the email for a new post, you have to give someone a moderated user role, like contributor. https://codex.wordpress.org/Roles_and_Capabilities
