I'd like the images in my Genesis profile and featured posts widgets to be no-pin.

    How can I do this?

What do you mean by Genesis Profile? Are you talking about the author profile?

There is a way to add extra attributes to an image using the genesis_get_image_default_args filter, but I don't know how to tell the system to do it only for the Genesis Featured Post widget. The widget doesn't have any hooks we can tie into. If you use that filter, you'd be adding the tag to every image on the page, not just the sidebar.

I am using two Genesis Widgets in my sidebar. One is the Genesis User Profile widget, the other is the Genesis featured posts widget. The images in those widgets show up when someone wants to pin an image from my site. I want to hide them from Pinterest because I do not want my profile picture or the less than optimized featured posts images to be pinned.

Unfortunately there's no way to do what you want without re-writing both widgets to include the extra attributes you would need to make this happen.
