I'm experimenting with the Metro Theme on a subdomain to replace my current blog. You can see the temp site here. http://www.billhibbler.gigtime.com/

I've just setup the Home Page Top, Middle and Bottom widgets. I've run an issue. I searched the forum but found no mention of it.

Active links don't work within the widgets. I use hyperlinks frequently in posts. In the case of the most recent posts featured here, all include a link to the YouTube video in the first line of the post in case the viewer can't see the video. The links work fine within the post themselves. I know I could work around this by pushing the link past the Read More tag but that's not always ideal. Why would links not work within this particular widget? Anyone found a fix? Or am I just missing something?

WordPress strips out HTML tags for excerpts which you can add back using code.

    Thanks, Brad! I'll try that.
