    I see that on the demo version of the News Theme, there are social media  icons on the top right - part of the secondary menu.

    What can I do to add these?

    If you log into your "my.studiopress" dashboard and click on "Get Started" beside the News theme, you'll find these instructions right at the top: "How to Create Social Icons in the Navigation"
