    Hi,

I wonder whether it is possible to change the size of the header image which is currently limited to 520?—180 pixels.

I would like to use an image that covers the entire width of the page, e.g. 1200x300 or so.

Can one change that without any major programming?

    Cheers and best regards.

    Hi,

    Thanks for your help.

I have changed the settings in functions.php and style.css to the desired values. I have checked that the changes got written to the files after closing the editor.

But when opening the WP-configuration environment of the News Pro theme the image header size is still set to 520x180 pixel. Something seems to reset the image header size back to its original settings.

In a local WP-installation I successfully managed to apply those changes to the functions.php and style.css.

Is there some sort of script that overwrites changes of the setting in functions.php and style.css upon starting the News Pro theme environment?

Should I change the ACL of both files to read only after applying my modificationsß

    Thanks in advance.

    H.
