I did a clean install of Genesis and of Newspro Theme - latest versions
    1. If I do a post it looks great on laptop and desktop etc but if I look for it on my iphone the theme is going to the left and is not responsive - I have not done anything but add the post - I took the post off and now it looks responsive on my iphone - what's the problem? (I put the post back on so you can look at it)
    2. I am having a problem getting the front page to show my post (as a static page) what is the problem there ? This would be the same post as noted above but its addressing categories etc when I just want it to be the home page.

Can you tell me what the problems are with this theme and how to fix these problems.

    Thanks

If you check out your site on the responsive test site, (http://www.studiopress.com/responsive/), you see that the site is responsive. Your first post with the welcome message does not allow your URL (BestChefKnivesOntheWeb.com) in the first line to line-break. That's what's causing the site to shift left on smaller screens.

    Thanks Victor,

That is good to know but how can I fix it - i.e. how do I get the url in the top line to break?

Aha I answered my own question - I took a line from further down the post and used it to type the first paragraph in the post and voila it worked! Thank you so much!!

There is still the problem of the 2nd question?

    2. I am having a problem getting the front page to show my post (as a static page) what is the problem there ? This would be the same post as noted above but I just want it to be the home page. I thought a post can be a Static Front Page?

No. A post cannot be a static home page. Only a page can be a static front page.
