    Hi there,

    I'm going to apologise in advance, because I know this has been answered a few times on the forum, but all of them had some coding knowledge and mine is very limited and couldn't follow the suggestions!

    From my limited experience, I know where in Function php where to change the dimensions, but struggling in the Stylesheets how to get the corresponding effect.

    My new image (the one I'm changing it to) is 1138x250, and it's currently 960x170. This new image covers the width of the site which is what I would like. How can achieve this please? My website is http://www.audio-byte.co.uk

    Your help will much appreciated as I'm at my wits end 🙁

    Many thanks

    Viv

    Why 1138px when the site container is 1140px?

    Thanks Brad.....No particular reason, I think. I was looking through the CSS and thought that was the correct size. I can change it to 1140, but any idea how I can change it? Thanks in advance.

    Thanks Brad for the link. I seem to be missing something because the logo isn't fully across the width. Please could you take a look? http://www.audio-byte.co.uk.

    Appreciate your help.

    Line 984 remove the padding

    .header-full-width .title-area,
    .header-full-width .site-title {
    	/* padding: 0 40px; */
    	width: 100%;
    }

    Hi Brad,

    Nice tutorial! Question: Is there anyway to have that header image scale (in mobile view) without creating that space between it and the primary navigation as it gets smaller? Hopefully that makes sense.

    Thanks again for all your help,

    Mike

    Sure Mike. You can use CSS in the Media Queries to do that.

    I don't have the specific code for that but it can be written if you are willing to spend some time on it.

    Hey Brad went to look at your tutorial at http://wpsites.net/web-design/news-pro-full-container-width-header-image/ and it looks like I have to pay to see the article? True?
